Package Itinerary
Day 01: Srinagar –Gulmarg –Srinagar
Upon arrival at the Srinagar airport our representative will meet you outside the arrival hall at the airport and assist you in boarding the vehicles for transfers to Hotel. After Check in proceed for an excursion to Gulmarg (Alt. 2730 m) Gulmarg - is one of the most beautiful hill station in this world and also called meadows of flower. It has world highest golf course and is also famous for winter sports like skiing. On arrival proceed for sightseeing tour of Gulmarg. Also enjoy Gondola ride (own arrangement) from Gulmarg to Khilan. Over night at Srinagar.
Day 02: Srinagar - Pahalgam
After breakfast leave houseboat & proceed to Excursion for Pahalgam (7200 fts a.s.l) “Village of Shepherds” en-route visiting the world famous Saffron growing fields. Awatipora ruins (9th Century) & Mart and Temple (Sun temple). Pahalgam is famous for Indian film Industry, some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Dinner & overnight in Pahalagam.After arrive at Pahalagam you have various options for rejuvenate yourself like:-
Option 1.Visit to Aru/Betab Valley which is a small village, 15 km upstream the Lidder River, The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. (On Direct payment basis)
Option 2. Visits to Chandanwari, 16 Km which is the starting point of sacred Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge, Enroute you can visit Hajan, an idyllic picnic spot and Betaab valley where the famous Bollywood movie Betaab was shot. (On Direct payment basis)
Option 3. You can enjoy leisurely walks in pine forest along River Lidder and enjoy picnic on riverside. Option 4. You can enjoy pony ride to Baisaran meadow, surrounded by thickly wooded pine forest and snow-capped mountains. This grassy glen offers a panoramic view of Pahalgam town and Lidder Valley. Day 03: Pahalgam - Srinagar Local Sightseeing
After an early breakfast at the hotel, proceed on Full day sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Cheshmashahi (The Royal Spring),Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar (The Adobe of Love) & famous Shankaryacharya temple. The evening is reserved for a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake (1-hr ride with 4 passengers on 1 Shikara Dinner & overnight at Houseboat.
Day 04: Srinagar - Sonmarg –Srinagar
After an early breakfast at the hotel, proceed on Full day excursion to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow) Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar Dinner overnight in Srinagar.
Day 05: Departure
After breakfast transfer to Srinagar airport to catch flight for onward destination.
